Andy joined the Transport for London graduate scheme in 2014, undertaking various engineering placements before joining the Four Lines Modernisation (4LM) project delivering a new Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling system. He left in 2021 for pastures new but retains an active interest in all thing TfL.
Andy is currently supporting Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) in the delivery of new rolling stock and signalling and telecoms systems upgrades on Glasgow Subway as a secondee from SNC-Lavalin Atkins. He is also the current Secretary for the IRSE Younger Members committee and enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife Kirsty and their 5 month old daughter Issy.
